Delilah and him have been friends even before the pilot. They both had some kinda romantic feelings for each other and had sex once which get Delilah pregnant with his baby. He immediately has been understanding and supportive of Delilah's decision towards their baby when he learned he was the father. They both decided to stay friends but keep taking care of each other.
