Riley Luo is one of the main characters in Generation. She is portrayed by Chase Sui Wonders.
Riley is a Libra, a rebellious, kind-hearted, photographer who was kicked out of her last school. Riley is friends with just about everyone, but despite her confident exterior, she's secretly struggling with issues including anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

Greta
Greta may be the first person Riley ever wanted to be with. Although describing herself as a 'hook up' girl, she really seems to consider Greta as a potential date and really care about her. As she grew up with parents who never gave each other any single mark of affection, she doesn't know how to express her feelings for Greta. Moreover, Riley and Greta both have communication issues, which had made it harder to speak about where their relationship stands. It is heavily implied after Greta retaliates her feelings towards Riley that they begin a romantic relationship.
Nathan
Riley and Nathan are shown to be best friends and unlike most friendships in the series their friendship started prior to the series' start. Riley really cares about Nathan. She is supportive about his bisexuality. Contrary to Riley, Nathan is centered about himself and doesn't realize she has to deal with her own issues, but he always does his best to be here for her.
Ana
Riley appreciates Greta's aunt since the moment they met. Ana seems to care about Riley as much as she cares about her niece Greta and considers her as a member of her family. Riley stayed a few weeks at Ana's house when she couldn't deal with her family issues.
Chester
Chester and Riley met in the Pilot. They both immediately became friends. They're both there for each other and take care of one another. Chester tries to give Riley some advice when he finds out she's starting to fall for Greta and keeps teasing her about it. Throughout the series we can see their friendship progress a lot. We could even say they both became the brother and sister they never had.
